World wide more than 53,000 full-time missionaries are serving missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most missionaries are young people under the age of 25, serving in 404 missions throughout the world. Colorado is divided into four mission areas: Denver North, Denver South, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins missions. The Colorado Springs mission covers southern Colorado including the High Plains Stake area of Falcon, Peyton, Lyman, Calhan, Black Forest and Colorado Springs areas.
